Introduction
Apex Trucking Company direly needs to protect information as shipments are being transported all over North America and Europe from New York. Currently, Apex Trucking Company is running on desktops using windows XP and windows based servers secured using a pass- word and a firewall. Without encryption, such sensitive data may be compromised by hackers. That is why Apex Trucking Company should opt for cryptography security systems. Cryptography is also called a cipher system, or a mechanism used by people to hide data such that others may not see it. The concept of cryptography employs tools such as encryption and decryption to provide secure communication and encode a
message using an algorithm (Stallings, 2017). Question 1
I would propose public key encryption (PKE) system for the apex trucking company. Public key encryption is a cryptography method that

I would propose public key encryption (PKE) system for the apex trucking company. Public key encryption is a cryptography method that uses two different keys, one available for anyone to use and the other for decrypting the message in the destination, usually called a private key. When TLS/SSL used, applications such as HTTP are possible (SSD.EFF.ORG, 2019). The company will use end to end encryption to protect message contents in different marketing groups in North America and Europe from being understood by anyone except the intended recipi- ents. Not only messages, but the company can also use the key to protect files and other details through the network. End to end encryption uses the basics of public critical encrypting. Let's start by understanding what encryption does. First, a simple message is scrambled to look in- comprehensible. Second, the scrambled message is sent through the network to the destination; the whose intended audience has the only way to read the original contents. Let say, for instance, New York headquarters wants to send customer credit cards to the marketing group in Canada and does not want anyone else to see it because it passes through intermediaries. Encryption shifts letters while keeping all
possible combinations for the text to look gibberish. Question 2
The implementation of end to end cryptography using public-key cryptography in the current apex trucking company system for the re- sponsibility of the generation of security keys will have an impact on security relationships and security requirements. Security enabling com- ponents must enable logon, credential acquisition, and security context management. This means the current security system in the marketing departments must use smartcards to sign data using a private key. Smartcards and cryptographic modules are considered primitive com- ponents of the system. They enable hashing, key generation, secret sharing, and random number generation. Some applications that were not currently available in the current security system, such as data buffering, will be enhanced using PKE (The Open Group, 1998). The current sys- tem will also have to be standardized to adopt interfaces that support first interfaces in 'pluggable' implementations. Although it is not necessary, we recommend the use of CSSM API version 2.0 from CDSA; the interface commonly defines API for accessing security services, dy- namically extends security services in the available application in the network, and defines provides an interface for security modules. Howev- er, regardless of the multiple primitives supported, there are legal restrictions related to intellectual property installed by the United States fed- eral law regarding deployment. This means legal; regulatory constraints must be followed when creating profiles in the new system.
Confidentiality in the order will be enhanced since essential controls permit critical uses and key purposes (Ferradi, 2016).
Question 3
There are several issues related to the implementation of public-key cryptography. The assumption in the cryptography is that P is not equal to NP, and thus there are no polynomial solutions to the algorithm. First, there may be RSA possible attacks. As many people want to hide message contents, some people still want to see them. The attackers may also prompt to use a parallel key that runs with the private key such that they can get the message without having the private key. The RSA factors the NP by trying any number that is less than its square root. Therefore, there may be two ways an attacker can break into the RSA algorithm. First, if factoring was found possible in the polynomial time, the attacker could find another method just like Adi Shamir's way of the knapsack problem. For instance, it takes different amounts of time to decrypt different codes of the same key, which means if the attacker eavesdrops the time taken process different crypto text, he/she can gain control of the key. Future hardware is another issue. This assumption that large and faster computers can help hackers is not correct. However, modern machines use better algorithms and more massive keys, which means new systems will benefit the company more than hackers.

Traditional computers have two states of either (0 or 1), while quantum computers operate on the two countries of quantum bits. Modern computers can solve exponential problems because they have quantum parallelism that enables them to work exponentially (Bennett & Brassard, 2014). Once quantum computers are realized, they will be able to calculate polynomial time in discrete logarithms. This leaves a
challenge to Apex Company on the effectiveness of utilizing a new technology.
Question 4
The system currently uses windows XP as the desktop operating system. The OS offers encryption by default without hassle that has so far helped protect data from malicious personnel. Windows XP used in the desktop computers comes with a service pack 2 (SP2), which strength- ens the system vulnerability against attacks. Windows XP also comes with an internet connection firewall (ICF) to boost local area networks' se- curity. Moreover, Linux offers secure encryption when installed. For instance, Ubuntu prompts its encryption when you are ready to install it (GeeksforGeeks. 2019). The chrome OS restricts one from using data in the system without having a password. Using social engineering attack, someone may change the password, but it is not designed to protect against that. It is just a simple layer of encryption that makes sensitive documents in the chrome book more secure. IOS8 also encrypts by default. Data is protected using a four-digit pin or password when data protection is enabled. Lastly, officers in Apex Company are encouraged to use mobile devices with Android 5.0 lollipop or more. Android 5.0 Lollipop reuses the screen passcode for encryption. This offers secure encryption, just like desktops using windows 8.1 OS. The central theme in encryption is data security. The new system will also use password encryption because after decrypting texts, destination officers will need a password to read the file. The new system will have passwords hashed to protect documents in which attackers gain access
to information about reading only. The server will need a password where data is stored to avoid malicious habits of eavesdropping.

Using both scrambled codes and default data encryption applications in the collaborate beef up security. Using a variety of technology helps protect data from authorized access, both aware and unaware. Beyond regulatory procedures in the United States and many coun- tries in the world require companies to protect their data. Using both cryptography and default applications helps avoid unnecessary fines like the case occurring in the University of Texas MD Anderson cancer center, which was penalized about 4.3 billion dollars for violating the HIPAA rule. Another advantage is that apex trucking company staff can use encryption in a wide variety of devices ranging from android to win- dows devices. This enables the company to keep documents and messages secure in any method any staff members are using. Therefore, data encryption supports data integrity that allows the company to make decisions confidently. This is a privacy safeguard for company assets (GeeksforGeeks, 2019). Sometimes the disk may be compromised to display unwanted messages if detected as viruses. Therefore, it is
recommended that the company allow workers to work remotely to enable these technological tools to work productively. Question 6
Eliminating the firewall will cost the credibility and efficiency of the new cryptography system. The firewall is there to protect data but can be disabled. Therefore, it is recommended to keep it switched on because turning it off can stop the computer applications from ending traffic into the network. Thus, all apex connections are left free of reign, making them vulnerable to attacks. Moreover, having the router
acts as the hardware firewall to protect flash disks and external devices from attack. A firewall is essential in the new system.
