market value. Unfortunately, the bad news is that the competitors of International Foods Group at Grocer’s Product Limited are eating their lunch with the new mobile apps they’ve developed. Everyone frowned at the mention of Grocers’ Products Limited, their fiercest competitor, which had the largest chain of integrated food

and retail stores in the country and whose Premier Choice products were showcased on their shelves, making it increasingly harder for IFG to get prime space for their top brands. According to the IT manager of IFG, Josh, the Marketing folk of IFG are very worried that we’re going to be falling behind. Their executives are all

screaming for more and more information to help them but it is not easy for them. Data mess at IFG is the biggest problem for them and it is going so worse. IFG

had thousands of old traditional systems, all of which data and reports are produced. The problem is that each system is used for different definitions of important company concepts, like “in stock.” The similar problems with varying understandings of such core company data (customer, supplier, employee, and others). It’s

hard for the executives how sales are going because they don’t have a single definition of what sales are. Therefore, I believe that there’s a data tsunami rapidly heading their way and they haven’t got a clue how to deal with it. So, the overall situation is very pathetic. From the above situation, we can highlight the major problems at IFG are: · A cluster of different systems used · No standard business terminologies and definitions across the organization · Too much data

scrubbing in progress · Local data marts maintained by every team · Cultural, organizational and structural changes · IT managers involvement were less

Stakeholders: Stakeholders are the members of the company, with which they are connected directly or indirectly. They have the power to influence the organization’s policies, decisions, and actions. In International Foods Group, the main stakeholders can be the customers, food suppliers, traders, shopkeepers, product distributors, policy-makers, employers, associations, owners and directors, through which the organization can achieve its objectives. They must understand the situation of the company, according to which they can make decisions for the organization correctly. The best fit stakeholders are that stands to gain or lose through the success

or failure of the project, provides funding for the project, has invested resources in the project, participates in the project, is affected by the outputs of the project is affected by the outcome of the project and is in that project (Egeland, 2018). The case study focuses on the stakeholders of the IFG are: · Chief Technology Officer:

Rick Visser · CIO: John Ahern · IT managers: Tonya James and Josh · IFG’s Business Intelligence Head: Mark Szabo

IFG can’t afford the resources to identify, define, cleanse, and validate all of its data. On the other hand, building yet another data mart to address a specific

problem

worsens the data situation. Propose a solution that will enable IFG to leverage a key

business problem/opportunity using their BI tools that does not aggravate their

Existing data predicament. The International Foods Group IT department is caught in between two equally important and opposing trends. The first trend

considered by the company is the trend for analytics and business intelligence. The company’s top management executives require data for managing the company’s operations and it is imperative that the data availed to the executives is one that could be trusted and good in terms of the aspects of reliability and availability. The currently used data warehouse by the company is rather inflexible. To gain a better competitive advantage, it is extremely important for the organization to figure out the best way to provide quality and reliable data when required. For example, when the goal is to improve the stocks of the products on the shelves, then the best solution is to go back to rewrite many of these systems. The IT managers must understand that what are the activities in the IT department are going to dramatically change the financial condition over the next few years. And that a lot of our work is going to focus on information such as, getting, analyzing, and delivering it in

packages that people can use for their work. Solutions: The capacities of the IFG are important for the organization and can be brought about to uplift its worst situation. The distinguishing Business Intelligence capabilities of the IFG include Customer, Procedure, and Innovation.

Therefore, we can look for innovative new technologies and applications that could help IFG. The best-fit answer to the organization’s worst situation will be a

smooth relocation to distributed computing. Lower costs for organizations that redistribute applications are relying upon an outsider's frame work. More

note worthy access to refined and changed arrangements, especially for littler associations. The possibility for increasing powerful reactions to change

innovation needs new improvements. The opportunity to invest energy in the central business without the diversion of overseeing different innovation concerns,

including foundation, applications, and inward frameworks. Also, the trend to analytics and business intelligence can also be used for working on the products.

The executives must get more information to run the company and it has to be based on good, trustworthy data. There are whole businesses out there that are winning because they’ve found a way to do this. The other answer for this smooth progress may put the information distribution center being used which was

worked by imprint and group couple of years prior, which was never utilized in any case. This will save cost and time (Nemet, Kraus & Zipperer, 2016).
