author of the article describes the importance of data security, he has emphasized on various strategies which can be used to protect big data and also enhance privacy protection. The first method which can be used to protect data is data encryption. Big data security is one of the major concerns since big data deployments are among the most valuable targets to intruders. Another strategy which can be used to enhance big data security is utilization of advanced analytic tools for non- relational databases. The author of the article also alludes that mature security tools effectively protect data storage and ingress. Nevertheless, they may not have the same impact on data output from a collection of analytics tools to a collection of locations.
