Organizing represents the managerial role that comes after planning. It is a function that includes the coordination and combining of people, technical, and financial support. Management is comprised of five essential duties: organizing, planning, leading, coordinating, and controlling. There are multiple managerial levels in health administration: top-level, middle-level, and frontline managers. The three roles of health managers are interpersonal, informational, and decisional. The article will discuss the governing bodies in healthcare organizations as discussed in Olden’s (2019) book: Organizing Job; Management of Healthcare Organizations.
Governance represents a framework that allows for all of the procedures involved in the administration of organizations and corporations. Another component of governance is the clinical side of things, which includes patient care, clinical practice management, and administration. Governance takes on a different form in healthcare businesses than it does in comparable sectors. On both sides of governance, the board and Chief executives have a lot on their plates. Both parties set goals and objectives to aim for, and they must also manage risks.
