Attention Getter: Have you ever thought about the logistics and what is needed to run a medical organization.
Preview: I will overview the staff needed to operate and run the facility. Specifically the medical, administrative services and the salary costs.
Transition: To begin,
Main Point 1 – Medical staff
The Medical Staff needed for the organization is listed on the chart on the screen. WE’ll need a president, general manager, intestinal, cardiac, heart and Lung surgeons and nurses. For the nurses we’ve research and feel that we’ll need 9 critical care nurses, 5 certified Nursing Assistants and one chief Nurse.
Transition: In addition to the Medical Staff we’ll also need administrators to keep everything running and organized.
Main Point 2 – Administrative Staff
Our staff will be as follows and as we grow we’ll add more people as needed, but in we’re trying to keep our costs down.
In researching other facilities and organ donation organizations we’ve discussed the need to have four general areas of the administrative staff. They are Administrative, Accounting, Receptionists and Health Care Administrators.
The administration will work with insurance companies as well as donors and those willing to give money to the foundation to help us provide this valuable life saving service.
Transitions: Finally it is important to understand the various costs of running such a facility.
I’ll start by discussing the Hospital president and general manager costs, then I’ll explain the surgeon costs.
The president of the hospital’s salary as taken from www.indeed.com/Salary was Hospital Chief $267,000. Also from the Indeed salary website it states that the general manager could expect to see a salary of $61,000.
The average salary for a general surgeon s $346,000 and this information came from Salary.com’s website. For a surgeon who specializes in heart transplants we’ll need to pay them an average of $584,000 and this was also for DFW off of Salary.com
The nursing salaries are as follows, Critical Nurse care $66,000 Certified Nursing Assistant $43,000 Chief Nurse $79,000. This information was found at www.myplan.com/careers.

Anticipate the End: As you can see from this speech about organization and management, it is going to take several people to make this facility operational.
Summary of main points: I discussed the medical, administrative staffing needs as well as the average salaries for these positions.
