An organizational structure refers to the scheme which profiles the approach in which determined occurrences are discharged to achieve the specified goals and objectives. Some of these occurrences include; roles and responsibilities, rules, how decisions are made, and the chain of command. As the company’s Human Resource Director, I would recommend the Functional Organizational Structure. Concerning this type of structure, employees are divided according to their specific job roles. For example, all marketers would be grouped under the sales and marketing department. With the growth and increased number of projects, this structure is the best because of its degree of scalability. An organization’s organizational structure can influence the project’s management. It will help you decide on the types of stakeholders to be involved in the project and the specific roles of each stakeholder. For every project, communication is a key factor behind its success. An organizational structure highly influence transmission. With an organizational structure, there is always an accurate chain of command. Organizational restructuring such as this is a good candidate for a project because it is an opportunity to change on areas that need modifications to avoid modifications in the middle of a project.
