Midterm Assignment

• You are requested to prepare a document where you develop the following points:

o 1) Explain the relationship of communication and culture within an organization.

o 2) ABCX is a private fashion group that operates internationally and owns several apparel and footwear traditional brands. The group is

headquartered in Barcelona and has subsidiaries in more than 20 different countries. Even if it is a private group, and they focus most of their

external communication in each of the brands, they provide yearly results on their website and they issue press releases regularly to

communicate significant changes. The CEO has been interviewed in the past in economic magazines and other relevant media.

The group just acquired SportWYZ, a young sportswear brand to reach the youngest generations and enter the sportswear category. The

agreement was totally confidential and now they need to communicate it internally and externally. They request your support to do it.

▪ a) Discuss the importance of communicating this operation, and identify different key stakeholders to be informed about it.

▪ b) Explain how you would orchestrate the external and internal communication of this acquisition, including the format(s)/channel(s),

timing, and the sample message(s). Justify your choices, and relate them to the different stakeholders.

• Text alignment: Justified.

• The in-text References and the Bibliography must be in Harvard’s citation style.
