Diversity Situations and Cultural Dilemmas

Diversity situation
The diversity situation that is selected in this paper is gender and racial diversity. There are many issues around us related to diversity and to some extent, in our life, we become the victim of such issues or directly and indirectly involved in it. Although, all the companies incorporate best practices to resolve this issue of racial and gender diversity they are not successful all the time until they get the full support of employees as they are one who practices it in daily routine matters.
Nowadays, diversity and inclusion are the main issues that the companies addressed so that they can expand their companies at a different geographical location and foster a good image of the company among the external and internal stakeholders of the company. But it is a fact that gender and racial diversity issues are deeply rooted that is difficult to overcome. The reason for these issues is that white people promote them a lot due to which these issues cannot be resolved although they are increasing with every passing. These gender issues are creating difficulty for women that create hurdles for them in perusing their career (Brait, 2015 ). Hence, the women are limited to a low managerial job and them less likely to serve at top positions of the company. Males do not want to promote them although they are fulfilling all the parameters. Hence, this gender diversity is the main cause of problems in many organizations.
Gender diversity is not the only problem that organizations have to deal with daily, but the ratio of racial diversity is also surprising. For example, the white supremacy is implemented everywhere in the companies in which white individuals who are ranked at high positions are less like to promote employees of a different race. Therefore, people of different races work at non – managerial positions. Therefore, by keeping in view the importance of these diversity issues, racial and gender diversity issues are addressed in a paper under the light of the survey.
Cultural groups impacted by this topic.
The cultural groups that are impacted by this topic are African Americans and Asians Americans who are the victim of this diversity most of the time. These two groups are the main victims in most of the organization that is also proved from this survey that if these people promote diversity in the organization then they are punished by the white males who are employed at senior positions. The other issue that is analyzed is that, not only the racial issues are the main problem, but gender discrimination is at its peak in most of the organizations.
Societal and historical forces:
The societal forces that are impeded are the norms of our society in which this discrimination is practiced in every aspect of our life (Spanierman, 2014 ). This racial and gender discrimination is not the issue of today but it is the issue that is present in this society for about hundred years and people who are suffering from this issues have still faced it in this 21st century where people believe in respecting each other ethnicity and presences. Hence, these social norms and deep-rooted history of practicing this discrimination is the main cause of why it is still present in our society.

Current types of segregation, be that as it may, are frequently unobtrusive and clandestine, presenting issues for social rational conceptualization and assessment.
