Labor relations can be defined as the relations between employees and employees especially in matters related to collective bargaining. In Canada, employees, have a right to join any labor union and engage in important collective bargaining (NUPGE, n.d). Employers cannot deny employees the right to join a union. Southwest should comply with this to ensure it operates smoothly in the country.

Training and Support

Training plays a key role in the success of a business.

In Canada, companies should provide training on workplace harassment and violence, safety and health, and other related aspects.

Companies should also offer work-related training to workers.

Training is important to any company. Training ensures smooth operations, efficiency, and employees safety. Even though every company’s training needs are different, providing training on workplace harassment and violence , safety and health, and other related aspects is mandatory in Canada. Companies also need to offer work-related training to employees (McCann, 2019). Southwest should comply with the training requirements to prevent workplace injuries, harassment, and discrimination.
