Business requirements are things that the business needs that must be accomplished or have so that it stays stay in business. They may include the processes that it must go through to accomplish to achieve a certain objective, useful data needed in the process and the business rules which will govern the business process and the data in order to achieve a particular goal. Business requirements handling helps meet the business objectives and deliver their customers and the customers. This will help start getting the right cause for obtaining the solution of the business needs and implementing the intervention obtained. From the work done above, the three business requirements identified are one the business rules, business data base and promotion process (Gomaa, 2005).

Business rules

Test case 1 Terms and operation

Business rules are proclamations that designates business strategies and practice to achieve a particular goal. The business rules project the direction the business will take in shaping its structure, management and control its behaviors. Business rules lists declarations that give way for the business to or not to involve in a particular action and provides a criteria and circumstances which are to be observed in making the judgment of taking the action or not. A construction contractor will need business rules in order to define the business nature, terms of operation, how the terms related to each other, the contains and the derivations of the business. Business rules will also govern the sourcing of data from the customers and how to preserve the data without breaching their privacy and confidentiality. Common needs of the business and the customers’ needs handling will be defined in the rules. Possible imput include the names, phone numbers, specifications (Newman, 2001).

Test case 2 Stakeholders and relation

The rules will also enlist the procedures and steps that are needed to take the business to the next level. The relationship of the customers and the business itself will also be defined and the technological involvement and the parties to be involved will also be defined. The parties involved and how they will interact will also be defined for instance, how business partners will relate or interact with the consultants that offer essential services, the project representatives and the shareholders and process owners. The product management, Information Technology and department of quality assurance will also be detailed. Business rules therefore detail various items, stakeholder and process and how they will interact to ensure that various aspects of the business are running towards the identifying of appropriate process and the operations that will bring the solution of the problem. Possible inputs include the owners, financiers, customers (Bouchrika, 2014).

Database and information

Test case 1 Planning and analysis

A database is a package of softwares that is designed, developed and implemented concisely aiming at managing customers data files digitally and in a systematized format. A good business should detail and manage its customer’s information’s which will help improving the communications and interaction with the customers. The contractor in this case the contract obtains the customers information through their constant interaction. The information helps the contractor know the needs, tests and the specifications of the customers. The information are kept well in a strongly guarded and established database which will help in ease retrieval when in need and when transacting various business with the customers. The information ought to be updated frequently so that the customers’ information are to their recent liking and needs.

The database has a lifecycle which is usually identified through documentation of the data and process of observing the development and the implementation programs of the database. The stages involved include the planning, the evaluation, the development and implementation stages. Planning stage involve collection of information and identifying the theoretical framework of the database program. A platform is constructed and allocates the budget associated with the program. The evaluation of the plan will involve the analysis of the plan where developers consider the duration, cost, platform and future developments. The outcome is a well-built database (Gomaa, 2005).

Test case 2 Development and execution

The development stage brings together all the logical design parameters and the program of the database is developed. In the implementation stage, the program is executed in a form of an application with a reason for performing a particular task. Lastly, the program is continuously maintained through troubleshooting to diagnoses operational problems, testing of the features of the program and the database. It may result in the re-designing of certain features in the program or development of a new feature to incorporate in the program or the database.

Marketing and advertising process

The process of promotion of the business include the advertising and marketing of the company or the products to the market so that it can earn acceptance and therefore customers. The contractor company should complement its job and make it appear in the local dailies and other media. This job must be done in a specific time frame observing the good seasons. The work estimation should be considered through phone and the physical interaction with the customers directly. Possible output include familiarization and increased loyalty of customers (Newman, 2001).

Construction Business

It demonstrates the up-to-date development for the affordable and quality construction. It represents how businesses publicizes in local media and other print bulletins works. The business operation is generated by the word of mouth to various consumers. The prospective of the business mentioned attracts the consumer to the construction site. The protective means that can help the customer’s access its information is detailed too. Possible input include the business prospectus, products and quality measures. The output will include the good business public figure (Gomaa, 2005).

Job Process

It demonstrates the vacillation on the convenience of jobs types. The lucrative business seasons are demonstrated including spring, summer and fall. It also expressions other lucrative less time consuming jobs. However, this jobs cannot be undertaken in the winter season. This maximizes the use of emergency cases due to new potential customers and existing customers. More jobs bring about value addition (Bouchrika, 2014).
