Criminal Justice

Most of the criminal theories have focused on the would-be criminal in addressing crime decline in most of the American cities and less covered in the communities where this violence often happens. These communities also play a crucial role however they are overlooked when it comes to paying them credit. Unorthodox theories have argued out that a switch in the society changes the existing criminal behavior and because of that nonprofit organizations have come up with activities in the communities that aim to facilitate this shift that will result into the reduction of criminal acts.

According to studies, people are working hard in their areas to condense violence that little credit is given to them. Nonprofits groups have come up with activities like mentoring children, cleaning streets and building playing grounds where parents can monitor their children’s behaviors. These operations have witnessed a reduction in the crime rates where their groups have worked tirelessly as much as others are not recognized despite their contribution to the crime rate drop. The community initiatives that target to shift existing characters were successful between the 1990s to 2015 because areas that were perceived risky like Washington and San Diego the murder reduced by 75% which indeed attracted many individuals including the investors.

There is an increase in nonprofits organizations which seek to ensure youth development, and according to the statistics, this rise has led to 6% reduction in the crime rates in the United States. These organizations have the objective that once the people’s needs are satisfied, then violence will decline gradually. Many states have witnessed the role that the communities’ play when it comes to criminal justice that is more than just community policing as much as the authorities do not recognize them.
