Paper details:

Applied Final Project: DESIGN A STUDY/TRAINING COURSE Using what you have learned from this course about cognition and memory, design a program to help improve the success of study habits for yourself. (long-term memory,short-term memory, and problem solving,) and discuss the relevant research pertaining to how your program would be designed to capitalize on what is known about these areas. Your paper should summarize fundamental issues, questions, and controversies and provide a guidelines regarding how the course might proceed and how it will benefit you. You are to base it on your series of reflection papers about how you learn and your strengths and areas for improvement. However, this paper isn't a reflection paper alone, as you must now design an intervention plan to improve your study and retention of college level material. How will you go about this and what results do you think are feasible and why? You cannot stop with just doing another reflection because this paper requires you to apply what you have learned in this course and relevant research to show WHY you are recommending what you are recommending. To accomplish this, you will have to use recent research articles (published within the past five years) to illustrate relevant points. You may use any of a number of electronic databases to find research articles that deal with your topic, including the library and the Internet. The one requirement for your selected research articles is that they must have appeared in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. You may not use the course text or newspaper or magazine articles as your major reference, but they are sometimes useful when they lead you to an appropriate research article. Avoid simply repeating the articles in summary form; use them within the text of your paper to illustrate important points. Your paper is to be seven to 10 pages, or about 1,800 words, in length. You will have a title page, abstract and reference page so the body of text will be at a minimum of 5 full pages. It must be typed, double spaced, with one-inch margins, and fully referenced in APA format
