Subject: Attend the Meeting to Discuss Ethical Issues Affecting Green Island Company

The purpose for this letter is to ask every employee of Green Island Company to attend the meeting that will discuss the ethical issues affecting our company (i.e., the increasing trend of hacking, tracking and using mobile phone-supported social media apps to abuse teens). We will figure out the best ways to overcome these challenges and improve the current situation.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday 15/06/2018 in our conference room, as from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

In case you fail to attend the meeting without issuing any reasonable explanation, you risk being fired. That is because the topic we are going to discuss is a matter of life and death for our company. So we won’t tolerate any employee who will fail to attend a meeting to save our company.

However, should you face an emergency or have serious barriers that you think you won’t make it to the meeting, kindly call or email me. But be ready to convince me that you were indeed seriously inconvenienced.

Aside from the repercussions, I humbly urge all of you to come and help us reason out the best ways to overcome the ethical issues facing our company. Green Island Company employs all of us; as a result, when it survives, we all survive. So let’s all attend and help save our employer!

The meeting will be an open forum where every employee will be free to issue his or her views on what needs to be changed, improved, adopted or dropped to thwart the ethical issues at hand. So come prepared to share whatever idea you have with us.

Please keep time!
