Printing Press Machine Installation
Printing press machine installation is a key part of setting the machine into printing service. Certainly, if the installation is properly done utilizing the right processes, it increases the machine´s serviceability and dependability in its printing service. All the tasks undertaken during installation should be well documented, brought to the users and filed for future reference during maintenance operations.
The scope of the project
The functions provided within the scope of the project involve easy printing and printing of high quality jobs by the printing machine operators while maintaining business rules. The project scope will cover the planning and installation processes. Typically, the project scope will involve; understanding the printing requirements and design of the printing press machine. The scope also defines the printing rules.
Installation process
The printing machine requires a proper rigid and safe support that provides a stable seating necessary for ensuring safe transmission of torque from the driving to the driven equipment. The machine operators and experts inspect safety operation of the machine.
Key tasks undertaken include:
· Visual assessment of the printing machine support
· Appropriate machine axial alignment inspection and adjustment
· Inspection of the cooling circuit link
· Assessment of the printing press machine
· Inspection of the primary and supplementary electric circuit link
· Inspection of the printing machine lubricating circuit link
Printing operation testing
Initially, Mechanical and electrical installations are checked to ascertain whether the necessary parameters are retained. Afterwards, all supplementary and control circuits needed for printing machine starting and operations are inspected.
Key tasks to be undertaken involve:
· Visual assessment of the key cable terminals
· Testing and standardizing installation parameters
· Safeguard testing
· Automatic Voltage Regulation configuration
· Inspection of the running and load running
· Assessment of electrical capacity and inspect all the printing machine´s wiring
· Examination of the operating parameters – load sharing and checking of vibrations
· Inspection of the printing press machine cooling and lubricating components
Once the proper constraints are set and the right operation tested and established the installation exercise is considered completed and the printing press machine is given to the client with proper documentation (it includes a definition of the work, set principles, summary of installation process, recommendations for the future utilization of the printing machine).
User Training
A one-day or numerous day training exercise on the printing machine’s functionality, control, maintenance and repairs comprises of both theoretical and practical sessions. The dedicated sections of the training exercise are conducted with the support of specialized engineering, and printing departments. Also, real-world simulations and finished products are utilized for the training exercises. Qualified and experienced professionals supervise the operator training where the trainees get the maximum skills. Once the machine is installed, customer and staff training that operate the printing machine may take place.
