Goal Setting
Goal setting is a process that forecasts the ideal future motivating a person to focus on realizing visions. Careful considerations are made of what achievement one wants and this requires working tirelessly to achieve them. According to Free management books (2013), a motivating goal has to have an objective that is well specified about the achievements to accomplish, also has to identify the needs to be done and the timeframe which they should be done. For a goal to be achievable it has to measurable and can be assessed.
Table 1 shows the long term goal setting and the short term goals set

In a dream to achieve a goal, in the long run, considerable measures at taken into consideration. Setting goals gives a long term vision that motivates short term achievements, also the level of knowledge acquisition is elevated hence achievements of aspects like time management and resources management that help manage personal life are developed. In the career of Early Childhood Development, a person requires to visualize a long term goal when dealing with children. The above goals are set to aid in career development.
The long term goal being graduating from FTCC with a degree in Early Childhood Development. This goal will require devotion to make sure it is achieved. According to Bateman and Barry (2012), goal setting ensures that the goals set intentions are turned into actual actions that focus towards the goal. Setting goals is paramount to creating attention towards the goal intentions, enabling a person to perform responsibilities at maximum level. Also, greater persistence is acquired resulting in creating innovative strategies. These processes will help in achieving the goal of graduating in December 2021.
In conclusion, to achieve a significant idea or a project, create a long term goal that in turn will attract creating short term goals. All these worked out together and one after the other according to the execution plan will lead to achieving the long term goal smoothly.
