“Children In his article, Joseph presents several questions that affect the "heart of human culture" that need to be considered to "enhance capacity for informed citizenship and critical thought" in children. Discuss HOW children's literature can be used to "equip young people for meaningful lives filled with rewarding experiences, enriching relationships, learning, intellectual and emotional growth and self-understanding."

Introduction. 

Granting children the opportunity to interact with various literary aspects is extremely vital for their success. All parties from educators, literature writers to parents should assist learners to develop a passion for reading. Reading literature is primary fundamental in developing critical thinking and cognitive skills among other reasons as well. Over the semester, my experience with children’s literary writers has grown my thinking about children literature. 

Body

· Children literature provides learners with the chance to respond to their own opinions.

· Children literature is an approach to learn about own culture and that of other people.

· Children literature is by far important because it fosters personality as well as social development. 

Conclusion 

Children literature is immensely valuable in school settings and the real world. All parties involved should, therefore, promote quality literature to encourage students’ access to important values. Children literature contribute to the creation of a better generation by equipping them with emotional intelligence, knowledge and creativity (Howe et al 222).
