Thesis statement
Governing is the concept that entails the establishment of policies that are necessary to balance the power members and ensuring that there is effective enhancement of prosperity and viability in a given organization. The thesis of this paper is “who should govern the society to ensure the effective comprehensive out puts are achieved”.

The article examines the political activities presented in “Salary Grab” of 1873 legislation that facilitate the increase of increase of the salaries for congress team by a fifty percent. There was various rejection of the legislation by the civic representatives and other activities. The article provides the strategies and concepts that was used to mitigate the power misuse during progressive era in the 19th century.
The article provides non biased information and very objective hence making the source more credible for my research. Also, the authors of the article are very reputable like Alston Lee having diverse informative article and books that are utilized in economic studies and international relations. The diverse editions and publication of article provides that other people were able to support the information hence making it more credible.
The article will provide systematic or historical information of governance from practical administration hence equipping my research with evidence based ideologies and concepts. This will be a good source of information for my project.

The book provides a clear introduction and clarification of the diverse approaches of governmentality which is derived from the French philosopher Michel Foucault. The book provides the analytics of government which improves both Foucault's theory of power and his understanding of liberty. The concept of "governmentality" develops a new understanding of power and governance in the society.
The book is published by sage publishers which are accredited publisher and also there are various version of the book which guarantees the credibility over the other sources. Mr. Dean the author is reputable and lecture in Copenhagen Business School hence facilitating the credibility.
The book will enable me to provide diverse approach in evaluation governing in regards to governmentality hence this will facilitate development of detailed and systematic paper. The book will provide me with ability to visualize the governance concept with more open minded approach which is more admirable.
