· Topmark Café is a sole-proprietorship company that operates under the food catering and beverages industry, located in the heart of Applewood Mott Estate, Vienna, VA. The name "Topmark Café" has a massive significance in attracting customers to its premises. We will be renting the space for $2500, monthly as that is steal in this high-end area. The utilities will include gas, electric, water, trash-removal, high-speed internet will be estimated at $1100 combined, monthly. Due to COVID, I will have to take extraordinary measures with sanitizing the café. That will an upward cost of $875, monthly.

 

· Production Process. 

 

· Topmark Café will have an arsenal of baking equipment to ensure our experienced bakers are preparing the freshest snacks. A full range ovens, refrigeration/freezers, and industrial size mixing bowls are necessary and will cost $43,000 combined. The display counters and tables with various kitchen utensils and tools will be approximate $18,000. The baking products like flour, sugar and yeast will be purchased by the Manager with a budget of $700, monthly. Majority of appliances, baking products, and perishables will be purchased at a whole seller like restaurant depo. There will also be a budget for market fresh ingredients purchased daily; the costs will be approximately $150 daily. Once operations are fully functional and daily operations are blooming, we should be to do a grand opening within three days of starting production.

 

· Research and Development

· The Topmark Café will stay abreast with current snacks that may be enhanced or infused with culinary delights. We also leave customer cards out for feedback. The feedback will be used to promote any improvements that will be discussed in the monthly employee meeting. We will also find innovative ways to bring in customers with delectable snacks that will appeal to all ages.

 

· Personnel Needs in Operations

 

· Topmark Café will initially have a small team that will carry the business for the orientation period of 90 days. The positions will be an experienced operations manager as an exempt employee of 60K. There will be baristas that will non-exempt employees at $ 17 ph.  There will be 4 dedicated bakers with 2 working on a PRN schedule. All serving as non-exempt employees at $38 ph.
