· The report should be 2 pages in length, double spaced,

· The report should use standard margins and a 12 point font, and a ONE-LINE HEADER.

· The following information must be contained in the report: Ensemble name, location and time of event (if listed), instruments used, style of music, and works performed.

· The report must contain AT LEAST FIVE VOCABULARY TERMS FROM OUR COURSE. This will show proficiency in applying those terms to a real-live concert situation.

· A grading rubric for these reports will be found in the E-Campus Drop Boxes where you turn them in.

· The rest of the report should contain personal feedback from you about what you thought of the concert, maybe something you particularly liked or disliked or anything that struck you as interesting or even some questions that you may have. Please also provide time stamps for the thoughts that you have (for example: if you had something particular to say about a portion of music at the 32:00 mark, indicate that). I will expect to see at least one insight and thought from each of the different movements of the piece (both videos will be of longer orchestral works with multiple movements).

· These reports can act as a little dialogue and discussion about music, which I feel is the best way to appreciate this art form.

· USE MINIMAL INFORMATION FROM THE INTERNET! ONLY A SMALL PORTION OF YOUR PAPER SHOULD BE USED TO EXPLAIN HISTORICAL CONTEXT AND SIGNIFICANCE.
