Courier delivery is an important aspect in the current generation. Products and services are sent and received by people from different regions. It therefore requires a well-established courier service/delivery company to provide these services to the clients. Knowing this is important, from the operations management perspective, FedEx plays an important role in ensuring that deliveries are made on time thereby ensuring continuity of operations. FedEx is thus interesting from an operations management perspective because through operations management, planning, direction, organization and control of all courier activities is made possible.

A number of issues and knowledge about the topic about the topic are already known to me. For instance, I understand the role that operations management plays in FedEx as well as how important effective operations management is to FedEx. I have consequently learned about the services offered by FedEx. It offers delivery services to people in different parts of the country. However, I intend to answer the following questions;

· What is the importance of operations management in FedEx?

· How do citizens benefit from services offered by FedEx?

· What improvements and modifications should be made on FedEx to improve the quality of its services?

· What challenges affect FedEx in its line of operation?

Sources play a vital role in the credibility of any research study. However, using credible and reliable sources is of great importance. I intend to visit company websites and other internet sources to gather vital information essential to the research study. To further support the ideas and offer different perspectives, I will conduct an extensive library search for articles with relevant information on the topic. These sources will provide plenty of information to answer the questions I have proposed.
