Detailed Outline of Audience Engagement Template (Approx. 2000 words)

Your brand and social media campaign topic

· Show research into your social media campaign topic

· Show understanding of your social media team hopes to achieve through this campaign.

· Show research into social media and your research topic. Are there similar social media campaigns?

· What social strategies are those competitors engaging in? What ideas can you borrow/what should you avoid?

Audience engagement strategy

· Give a detailed account of your intended audience, who they are, where they are, what they are doing and what they want.

· Show understanding of how the production team’s goals and audience desires can be matched.

· Describe community management approaches.

· Explain how you will use automated approaches for you campaign – will you use Hootsuite, create a bot, engage emerging automated platforms, for example?

Platforms

· Specifically describes each platform you will use for your strategy. In this written material, you will clearly outline how the platform operates, what are the sorts of publishing techniques employed by its users, and what are the implications of influencers, automation, and/or artificial intelligence. Finally, you will include a justification why these platforms were chosen.

· Include how you use automated management here.

Engagement strategy

· Describe your plans to solicit audience engagement and participation

· What characteristics do your content examples have that will inspire engagement/sharing/commenting/liking etc. Point to specific examples in your appendix to illustrate this. What types of engagements do you hope for and why?

· Which course theories have you used to help you boost engagement?

· Explain the choices made in your content calendar? Why are you posting at certain times? What is the purpose of content?

· Describe the actors needed for the success of this campaign. How did your roles contribute this campaign? Do you need to engage the help of social media influencers? Do you need to speak with industry partners? What actions would need to be taken to achieve your stated goals?
