I am delighted to be able to offer you a full-time position as Client Manager & Fundraising Writer with XXXXX. This memo will outline a complete salary and benefits package. All of us at XX are excited about you joining our team on or around (Date).

Salary: $xxxxx (paid twice each month on the 1st & 15th)

Profit Sharing Bonus: 3 to 5% of half of company’s net income (other half is re-invested in the company), payable every six months based on QuickBooks profit & loss statements (cash basis) ending May 30 and November 30.

SIMPLE IRA Plan: The company administers a SIMPLE IRA plan that you are entitled to contribute to after completing six months of employment. You can automatically and easily contribute to your retirement through your paychecks. The company provides a match of 3%. Here is an example of how this works: Based on a $xxx,000 annual salary a 5% employee contribution would be $xx and a 3% employer contribution would be $x for a total annual retirement contribution amount of $x.

Medical Insurance: The company offers outstanding health coverage and pays 100% of the premium for individuals and 50% of the premium for dependent coverage. We currently have coverage with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield but we negotiate our plan annually for the best possible medical coverage for our employees.

Annual Leave (combined sick leave and vacation): For a full-time position, XX offers the following leave each calendar year based on time of employment:

Years are defined by the anniversary of your hire, e.g. someone who has passed the 2nd anniversary of their hire date would receive 20 days. Someone who has passed their 5th anniversary would receive 25 days. Note: The number of leave days allocated per calendar year may be pro-rated based on the employee start date and/or anniversary date on a case by case basis.

Paid Holidays: XX offers 11 standard paid holidays per year. In addition, we typically close the office between Christmas and New Year’s Day. The following days are paid holidays for 2020:

· Martin Luther King Day (1/20/2020)

· Presidents Day (2/17/20)

· Memorial Day (5/25/20)

· Independence Day Observed (7/3/20)

· Labor Day (9/7/20)

· Veterans Day (11/11/20)

· Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving (11/26/20-11/27/20)

· Noon on 12/23 through New Year’s Day (Employees are asked to check emails remotely and keep all projects moving on 12/28/20 through 12/30/20.)

Travel Expenses: Impact will reimburse you for mileage for travel to client meetings at standard IRS rates.

Professional Development Fund: Impact is committed to ensuring that our employees continue to grow in their jobs. Therefore, we offer $600 per year to be utilized for professional memberships such as XX or XXX, conferences, workshops, or job-related courses. Approval for professional development expenses is at the discretion of the President.

Wellness Fund: XXX believes that our company will prosper when our employees are healthy and whole. This is especially important in a company committed to providing excellent creative work. We are committed to contributing to the wellness of our employees and offer a wellness benefit of $600 per year per employee. Approval for wellness expenses are at the discretion of the President but expenses that will be considered include: non-traditional medicine expenses not covered by insurance, massage, exercise programs, etc.

Company Provided Tools: You will be provided with a company laptop and access to the office server both in the office and remotely. Also, after six months on the job, the company will provide you with an iPhone and add your phone service to our company plan, if you wish.

Probationary Period: Your start date will commence a three-month probationary period. During this period, you will be able to determine if your new job is suitable for you and Impact will have the opportunity to evaluate your performance. The company adheres to a policy of employment-at-will during the probationary period, which allows either party to terminate the employment relationship at any time for any reason.

Non-Compete: We request that you sign the accompanying non-compete agreement that contains some restrictions on working with clients of XXXXX for a limited period of time after separating from the company. This non-compete agreement will go into effect at the end of your three-month probationary period. A copy of the non-compete agreement has been provided separately.

Salary Review: XX reviews salaries for all employees in the first quarter of each calendar year. That means your first annual salary review will occur before March 30, 2021.

Contributions to Charity: Every year, XX donates to local charities selected by our staff. As one of our employees, you will have an opportunity to nominate charities and participate in decisions about the company’s donations.
