Objective 1

A common myth among African American communities in PG county supports the idea that African genes are superior to the virus. Effective leadership was essential to break away from inherent repudiation by educating the communities using social media platforms and other virtual outlets. The authorities needed to have reached out to the community through nurses, providing education and awareness on Facebook pages.

Objective 2

The second objective aims to educate the community that respecting social distancing laws is not to undermine individual rights but protect the community's health. Asking people to stay at home requires legal authorities to enable, support, authorize, or otherwise provide a legal basis for any restrictions on persons' movement during a declared public health emergency.

Proposal

The health organization had to communicate with legal authorities, use social media platforms, and sensitize the population about the pandemic's severity to reduce anxiety about why such policies need to be in place.

Objective 3

Residential segregation is one of the significant causes of health disparity amongst minority groups such as Hispanics. In PG County, overcrowded households tend to increase the chances of spreading the covid 19 viruses.

Propose solution

The authorities can come up with programs to assist with housing and providing education.
