Finished up the General ledger for the month of January and what to do if there are inconsistency with totals (if the bank didn’t match what is in our system. Talked about what could cause inconsistencies and how to identify them.

5) Site Supervisor’s comments and constructive criticism (this is mandatory): We were very pleased with Sam’s initial foray into this new accounting/company processing. When this first month’s work items were completed, Sam’s entries resulted in only two minor cash adjusting entries (each of only 2 cents). We discussed how such minor adjustments were most likely results of math or other system entry errors. Excellent first effort.
