Inter-professional Teams
When facing youth who have suicidal problems, the interprofessional team must perform competent health assessments of suicide risk and develop strategies to prevent suicide. The health care teams must work together to assess and maintain environmental safety, develop protocols, policies, and practices consistent with suicide awareness and prevention.
