These are the important aspects of the work breakdown structure (WBS) that you must consider.

· Specific outputs/deliverables are related to each task.

· Outputs/deliverables list is associated with performance criteria to facilitate quality monitoring. Metrics must be included if indicated

· Tasks and subtasks have been broken down to their lowest levels the timeline for each should be 1 to 25 days.

· Assign only one owner to the lowest level tasks to ensure accountability.

· Re-review weekly and update the list; match each task to its corresponding deliverables and owner.
