MY ANSWER: Professor & class,

An example of a data collection that was used in my article, Medication errors in hospitals; a literature review of disruptions to nursing care during medication administration was qualitative data collection methods, the reason being is that they observed results & assess the changes that were happening in the hospital as the new interventions were put into actions as far as, "how to improve medication disruption/interruptions" in the hospital settings.

They were also seeing how each nurses perception was to the changes, did it improve their shift or did it slow them down.This article was open to the different ways medication errors could be improved. They studied different literature's that were out that had new grad nurses & general hospital nurses. They followed up on the changes that were made. They stated what the changes did with the nurses, some slowed down their regular routine & the reason why it slowed them down is because of actually making sure you do each step to prevent interruptions from happening.
