Town House Meeting

Notes on the Town Hall meeting research project

This is a research paper on your topic. Treat it as a peer reviewed research paper. Here are some points on it:

· Minimum of 4 pages text if one person, 5 if 2 people in group

· Additional page for graphs, tables, maps, pictures, diagrams, etc. This is an appendix

· Additional page for references. Make sure you include everything that you reference in text in the references page.

· DON’T FORGET TO INCLUDE IN-TEXT CITATIONS! The whole paper is plagiarism if there are no citations in the text. And I will not grade it.

· You can use whatever citation method you prefer. Just make sure you stick with it for the whole paper (I don’t want to see several citation methods in one paper)

· If there are 2 of you in a group, when you put the paper together, make sure it has the same font and size. Make sure also that there are no repetitions!

· Besides history and science, you can also include the economic, political, legal, and social aspects of your project. But not all topics will have all of those subtopics.

There also will be an oral component to the project.

· 2 minutes (4 if in a group) of defending your point of view

· 1 minute for questions

· Make sure you ask a question to a classmate because is part of your grade
