Greetings Learners:

This week's focus is on selection of the articles that you will use for your comparative analysis and using descriptive statistics in the discussion to describe your sample. 

A couple of tips on the selection of the articles.

1.  First identify a social problem,  then to help you narrow down the topic,  focus on a population (geriatric, adult, child and adolescent) if that is relevant.  This will help narrow down very broad topics.

2.  Remember, the article should describe an intervention, then describe a quantitative evaluation of that intervention.

3.  Most importantly--- you control how complicated this assignment can get.  Take the time up front to obtain articles that are seemingly simple and straightforward and clearly written.  It is this information that you will be using for the comparative analysis.
