NOTESFORMGT547CLASS.rtf

I want to show you what my expectations are - the delivery of your project. Please take a look at how the sources are presented in the paper but the reflection of those sources are not presented in a researched report form.  Every sentence that is portrayed shows the plan of Scott's company and how my team will develop the end product for MacArthur & Associates.  Now, I am a little tired tonight after helping my daughter take care of two sick babies, so this might not be 100% but you should get the idea.

Each week you must include at least 2 peer-reviewed sources cited correctly - and the use of the textbook or lecture depending on the course assignment. Do not use you, your or begin sentences with it, but, or because.   Work to exclude casual words or jargon. Remember, you are standing in front of your client offering a proposal to improve their company. They know their strengths - they know their history - but you are learning all about them - so be careful when you are recounting the company information.

Class - this is a progressive case study - meaning each week you will expand on the project.  I would like you to pull together all your pieces of work and at your next submission and thereafter, submit the entire project.  Each week use a heading - highlighted to show me where the new material begins.

I like to see the paper as its being formed because sometimes something will catch my interest that I did not see before.  Make sure your work is developed using the same voice throughout the work.  You don't want to write a researched report -- you have to imagine you are presenting a proposal for the client so the perspective from which you are writing is different than what you have done in your program where you are reading a case study and writing about it.

Here  are a couple of examples of the writing tone:

Nightglow Description

Nightglow Electronics is an online custom electronics company specializing in unique and innovative home use electro-optical products.  The products range in complexity, but most utilize lights and an optical phenomenon to produce a visually appealing presentation.  Nightglow Electronics currently produces four distinct products – color organs, laser aquariums, glowing bottles, and dispersion lamps.  Each product offered can be modified to meet customer requests.  The customization options available on the color organs and laser aquariums are virtually infinite while the glowing bottles and dispersion lamps have much more limited customization possibilities.  Our products are perfect for man caves, home bars, parties, recreation rooms, and any distinct area that could use some extra flare.  Based on the item and customization requested, the products can function as subtle artwork displays or attention-grabbing devices.

Hy-Mart Description

The Hy-Mart Global E-commerce Platform (GEP) transformed the company to that of a global   multichannel retailer with an innovative 21 st  century hybrid business model that literally knows  no boundaries or borders. The Hy-Mart GEP provides the technology, infrastructure, and capacity to not only cater to and grow its loyal customer base, but also to expand its reach  internationally to compete with, and wrestle market share from Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Alibaba. Successfully capturing one half of one percent (0.5%) of this market share would more than double Hy-Mart’s FY2015 gross sales, exceeding $30 billion annually over the next 5-years.
