Week 6 - Discussion Concepts/Applications

This week's chapters revisit the Finance aspects of HealthCare Systems and Delivery (Cost, Access and Quality).

Take a look at two new drugs (actually they are radiopharmaceutical therapies), Lutethera and Azedra (both trademarked).  Your will find an abundance of information via the internet and there are a couple of links in the 'Readings section on Module 6) You will be astounded at the cost of these therapies.  The readings and text do a good job of looking at this but you are going to need to critically think about this.  Reference some of the discussions from Week 3.   How do you deliver these potentially life saving therapies without breaking our broken systems even more?
