NoSQL Databases and write a report.

The report should address the following areas:

1. Analysis and comparison of NoSQL databases with relational databases including an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of each as well as their future prospects.

2. Outline the motivation for the use of NoSQL databases and the main characteristics of key-value store databases, column-oriented databases, graph databases and document store databases.

3. Each team member should then describe how one database works and their key features. The analysis should be approached from one of the two (odd/even) Areas of Interest.

Using the 2nd last digit of your student id please select a topic from the Database Type column. Based on whether the last digit of your student id is odd or even please choose the appropriate Areas of Analysis and apply those 5 areas to your approach.

The report should be a MAXIMUM of 1500 words, not including Cover Page, Table of Content & Bibliography) in length and should have the following characteristics:

· 12pt font / Arial / Normal Line Spacing

· Harvard Style Referencing

· Images, charts, quotations, etc. should not make up more than 25% of report

· PLAGARISM is wrong, please follow Library guidelines

SUBMISSION:

The final report must be submitted to Moodle on/before the deadline. Submissions received after the deadline will be subject to penalties.
