Week 4 - Assignment: Outline of the Comprehensive Literature Review and Scholarly Writing
Faculty Use Only
Summary Feedback:
Assignment Completion and Understanding of Materials
Good use of the topic- the effects of currency manipulation on the global economy. The information is taken from source(s) with enough interpretation/evaluation to develop a coherent analysis or synthesis.
The outline includes: The outline should include more than simply topic headings from your concept map; instead, provide details regarding the scholarly sources under each heading with connections between the findings of the different studies. These connections should align specific articles to topics and subtopics you have already defined.
In your writing the conclusions and related outcomes (consequences and implications) are logical and reflect you informed evaluation and ability to place evidence and perspectives discussed in priority order.
Assign sub-topics Roman numerals using capital letters (I, II, III, IV, etc.). Divide your paper or topic into several large sections according to subject, chronology or another logical method. The sub-topics should follow the sequencing used in your paper.
Label supporting points. Just as the body paragraphs of your paper will include supporting sentences to provide evidence for your claims, so should the outline contain points to support your topics and sub-topics. Designate these points using capital letters (A, B, C, etc.).
Your sources are interesting and they are all clearly related to your topic. You select a variety of research sources that are all written at the appropriate level for this paper’s purpose. The connection between your sources and your topic are clear; your annotation follows the points and provides the main conclusions of each source.
The topics on leadership and culture were important, These can help support your future findings.

Summary Feedback:
Written Expression, Grammar, and APA Conventions
Double-space the outline. Check to see that your page follows general APA formatting guidelines, such as using one-inch margins on all sides (top, bottom, left and right). Use a simple 10 or 12-point font such as Times New Roman or Arial.
Balance the information. For every I in your outline, you must have a II; for every A you must provide a B, etc. If you find yourself with a stranded 1 with no 2, for example, you may need to conduct more research on the sub-topic for informational balance, or remove that level of division from the outline.
Cite your sources.
Good descriptions of the breakdown of resources. Always expand in depth on your research and use of scholarly academic journal articles to strengthen your content, research and application of the topics.
Re-review APA format for citing throughout

Reflect on the Importance of Scholarly Writing
BTM-7300 Assignment # 4

22 November 2018
Introduction
This week’s assignment is to create a comprehensive concise outline that I will use to write my literature review. I will do this by reviewing all assignments dating back to week one. My research is focused on the effects of currency manipulation on the global economy. In addressing its effects, it is important to focus on why some countries engage in it and identify some control measures to regulate it. Comment by Dr George Ackerman: The outline includes: The outline should include more than simply topic headings from your concept map; instead, provide details regarding the scholarly sources under each heading with connections between the findings of the different studies. These connections should align specific articles to topics and subtopics you have already defined.

Conclusion Comment by Dr George Ackerman: Remove or review scholarly writing
This assignment was an eye-opener. Although, this has been a good starting point, further research needs to be done to convince my audience of my currency manipulation and its effect on the global economy argument. Completing this outline, convinces me that more resources should be made available for this review. However, I believe that this is a good starting point. Currency manipulation has been a global issue for quite some time. I believe that by defining it, addressing the benefits-advantages/disadvantages, manipulators, and control measures will help decide legislation needed to regulate this practice.
