NoJax Company
The Personality trait I believe to be the most important for the NoJax management to seek out during an interview process.
NoJax Inc. is an American company which is small that manufactures and designs accessories, clothing and athletic shoes that are specialized. Presently, it has four vital areas of concentration: apparels for lifting weights, shoes used for weight lifting, apparel designed for running and shoes for running (Judge & Zapata,2015).
i. Openness to Experience – It converses NoJax in forms which gain support from other individuals. Leadership ought to guide, motivate and mentor others towards aims.
ii. Conscientiousness – Comprehensiveness nurtures for various points of views. It also validates a personal commitment which helps in creating a welcoming and hospitable environment.
iii. Agreeableness – To work at NoJax, you should be able to adjust the planned work by applying thinking that is crucial and gathering data that is relevant to address numerous demands.
iv. Neuroticism – Not just in NoJax, it is important to have a personality trait that efficiently expresses facts and thoughts and delivers facts.
v. Extraversion – One of the most significant trait is being able to agree to take responsibility and obligation for one’s own decisions and actions in a cost-effective and efficient way.
Personality Trait important for NoJax Management to Seek out During an Interview Process
Design Manager Alice Bloom and Lifting Shoes Manager Anam Basra.
With their dissimilar personality traits, we can make an evaluation of the baseline performance thus help in raising the bar on the presentation of the employees. With the high extraversion of Alice Bloom and Anam Basra’s high levels of agreeableness and conscientiousness, there are various strengths that may result. Also, both of them have low traits when it comes to openness, thus creating weaknesses within the organization. Also, their Caucasian and Pakistani races together with their work experiences help maintain the balance required for managing the shoe designs (Lo, et al., 2017).
Strengths
Accepts responsibility of decisions and actions by demonstrating commitment to accomplishing work in a cost-effective, efficient and ethical manner.
Weaknesses
Their lack of openness makes it hard for employee communication and interaction. This may make working together somewhat complicated.
Marketing Department Manager Janet Johnson and Research and Development Department Manager Orlando Grant.
The manager Johnson, has a low emotional stability and Orlando has a high one thus balancing and providing a strength for NoJax. However, with the medium and low conscientiousness, it may lead to several weaknesses. Being both African Americans, it will be easier to blend especially regarding their emotional stability.
Strengths
It is easier to adjust work that gets planned by gathering statistics that are relevant especially in competing for priorities in an environment that is changing.
Weaknesses
It is harder to apply critical thinking while addressing numerous demands.
Running Shoes Product Manager Carrie Durant and Running Apparel Product Manager Jessie Mercado
Both Jessie Mercado and Carrie Durant has a high level of agreeableness. Despite this high level of positive traits, their emotional stability is rather standard thus could pose problems to the management of shoes. With Carrie’s 12 years of experience and 10 years for Jessie, the company is very stable because these two are well conversant with the work thus fosters productivity.
Strengths
High levels of agreeableness expresses thoughts and transfers information as well as facts.
Weaknesses
Medium stability in emotions demonstrate a limited efficient use of listening capabilities. Also, less openness displays other individual’s thoughts and ideas.
Lifting Shoes Product Manager Lynn Bryant and Marketing Department Manager Janet Johnson
Their high and low emotional stability balances the chances of the department to grow and increase in productivity. Their medium levels of agreeableness however minimize the chances of calm episodes of decision making. With their bachelor’s, both in psychology and marketing, NoJax is at a good point of growing (Parks-Leduc, Feldman & Bardi, 2015).
Strengths
High stability levels help in the communication of NoJax’s vision and mission as well as help in mentoring, guiding and motivating others in the direction of objectives.
Weaknesses
Low and medium levels of agreeableness reduce respect for different point of views of other individuals. Also, it reduces personal commitments which form welcoming and hospitable environments.
