The perspectives of the financial challenge from Waybird Consulting ,which was hired to course correct Centegra,was to examine the entire situation and execute on Clinical Documentation Improvement,System Revenue Cycle Improvement, Chargemaster Review,Managed Care Contracting and Pharmacy Charge master and CPC revenue cycle redesign.Designing the revenue cycle experience with the patient in mind will allow patients and their providers to focus on the primary reason for healthcare, which is improving patient outcomes(Lapointe1).These areas are focused on the following first year for economic improvements. There would be cost initiatives set forth. Labor Productivity such as Role and team design which creates jobs and assigns responsibilities to improve flexibility and workload balance across work teams(Auton1). Improvement CPC Cost and improvement in Supply Chain. Many times, manufacturers struggle with moving inventory through their supply chains in a timely fashion. When products expire as a result of not being used appropriately, revenue is lost and profit margins are hurt. This is why it is so important to manage the inventory process effectively(Sampson1). Drug Management, Outpatient Services (Retail Pharmacy) and Reduce Cost to Collect (System Revenue Cycle) are also a focus on improvement
