Introduction
Learning how to think as a manager of news is markedly important in being prepared to enter the field. By exploring the dynamic roles and responsibilities of media in contemporary society, you will gain a better understanding and appreciation for the entire process of gathering and delivering the news. This week you will you be assigned to a news team that you will work with in the publication of news media during several weeks of the course. Together you will consider the audience that you will be writing for and you will also create or update and share your electronic portfolios with classmates for valuable feedback.
