Exercise #2: News Planning Sheet

Directions: In order to write well, you need to plan well. Use this sheet as a planning guide to help you prepare for your upcoming news story. Provide as much information as you can. You will be conducting face-to face- interviews. It is always best to talk directly to a person. This is the way to get information first-hand. The response from your interview subject(s) will likely be more natural and less rehearsed. This tends to make the information more credible.
