The cybersecurity in the fourth industrial revolution. The pitfalls of possessing hyper-connected systems will be reflected by the researcher in the given report. The recent trend in the IT industries with the process of manufacturing is unparalleled levels of information exchange as well as automation (Dawson, 2018). For bringing this innovation, the industries are required to integrate cyber-physical systems, internet of things and cloud computing technologies. Besides, the fourth industrial revolution includes a hyper-connected system which involves the utilization of smarter robotics efficiently and effectively and moves the process of manufacture in e new heights. By the utilization of these innovative technological systems, it is very much crucial to make sure that cybersecurity plays a major role during the evolution of this innovation industrial benchmark. However, more than ninety manufacturing plants were struck by cyber-attacks, when the threats of this particular industry are going to rise. The hazard of implementing hyper-connected system imparts more vulnerability to the industry as compared to the traditional system design of the organizations. The main tension is that the hackers from Russia and other nations are gaining access to enter into a secured network. In recent times, there are some well-defined attacks on SCADA systems throughout Europe as well as North America. Thus, for understanding the current stage of manufacturing, it is crucial to understand the traditional history of industrial revolutions (Dawson, 2018).
In Britain, the first revolution took place between the year of 1750-1850, when the specialized tasks for production for international and national markets rose and economic development took place. The second revolution took place after the 19th century, followed by the beginning of the 20th century (Dawson, 2018). At the time of this revolution, certain interventions had been made such as Telegram, Airplanes, light bulb and Henry Ford's Model. This period recognized a mass production which had been changed by professionals in logistics and supplies to equip manufacturing organizations with demands and supplies. The third revolution of industries began from 1970 to 2000, where certain other inventions had been made. Finally, the manufacturing industries have been undergoing another revolutionary change, which paved the way for systematic deployment for the system of cyber cells. The cyber-physical system is a combination of physical processes, networking, and embedded computers, which are tightly linked with the internet. This change is implemented in the fourth industrial revolution and ultimately, does not take place without cybersecurity with the execution of technologies (Dawson, 2018).
In case of any industry, there is always a need to set some security measurements to prevent cyber threats to take place. In this case of preventive measurements, cybersecurity in industry 4.0 plays a major role in which it involves a hyperconnected system to move the manufacturing units to new heights efficiently. Although for the successful implementation of the cybersecurity in the industry level it requires the internet of things. With the help of these plans, it can be helpful in case of taking some preventive measurements from the cyber-attacks and also the pitfall of the system which is hyperconnected leave the whole industry more vulnerable than the design system of the industry (Sadeghi, Waksman, & Winder, 2015). If the systems are hyperconnected between every system of the industry, then it will become a challenging factor to reconsider. However, the cyber threats will be minimal if in case the industry will allow having, they preventive measurements for this particular matter of industrial security. For this modern era, cyber threats became the main headache of most of the industries. Because the industries have to take some actions like they need to focus on the matter of privacy of their data. Other than that, in the case of IoT the system integrity is the main crucial factor which they might need to consider for this matter. On the other hand, a secret authorization is pretty much needed for the matter of the security compromization. A gathering of intelligence will help to protect their privacy which is the main concern for the data security of the industry. Hyperconnected system of an industrial level is somehow developed for the working facilities to the employees and also for their purposes. For the hyper-connected system of an industry, it is the most affected part of the industrial level if in case any cyber-attack happens. It is most likely a chain system by which the attack can reflect all the system connected to it. This can be so dangerous that if one system affects by the attack then the related or connected systems will also get some serious damages which will be a huge loss for the industry. By this process, the hackers or the cybercriminals can have access to all the connected systems related to the hyper connectivity if in case they get access to only one system of this chain which may result in a devastating end to an industry. Besides having its benefits, this dark side is also needed to consider if there is no such preventive measure and also a backup plan for the future in this matter (Sadeghi, Wachsmann, & Waidner, 2015).

The other week I had been doing more research to understand the scope of the paper. I was trying to determine the underlying relationship between the cybersecurity, hyperconnected systems, and industry. By now, I feel confident that the content I have learned concerning this research is enough to keep me going for it. At first, I thought it would be so hard to bring understanding home. But now, I have realized that the topic is just easy for one to read, understand and begin writing it. It is just about settling down, assembling resources and beginning to write down.
This week I have been organizing my research. By this, I mean, I am organizing the resources (references) that I will be using to write my research. I have been searching for these resources through the internet browser. The primary resource that I have been using to get more information about the topic has been Wikipedia (Writers, 2020). It has given me primary information that has uplifted my knowledge about the topic of industry 4.0. Going forward, I am going to develop my research from the already realized concepts.
There are various challenges that I have gone through so far (Qasem & Zayid, 2019). The first challenge has been whether the professor would allow this kind of approach that I am using to gather my research. Secondly, I still cannot have tangible knowledge about the methodologies that I am going to use. Thirdly, it has been challenging to search for modern, specialized resources that would give me detailed information about the topic. Furthermore, I am still struggling to develop an interest in this research.
