In our world everybody is familiar with at least one kind of music. It is an important parts of all people’s life. It can give us relaxation specially when people feel tired and sad. People usually connect with music from early life even from their childhood. When a child wants to sleep, his/her mother sing something for him/her in order to sleep. This can be the beginning of music in our life which continues during times.
Music has a notable effect in my life. I listen to music almost every time. It is an important and an inseparable part of my life. I can’t imagine my life without music. I usually listen to music all the time; the time when I’m happy, sad or when I’m depressed. Researchers has shown that music is relaxing. When I’m stressed out music regulates hormones that are relating to stress so I would be relaxed and comfortable. It helps me to forget my problems when I’m sad and upset.
Music can give me a better workout. I listen to music when I am exercising because it helps me to be more active and have more energy to keep practicing. While I’m running, I listen to music with my earphones; so it gives me more power to practice more. In this way music is very good for my health.
Music strengthen my memory; it helps me to memories and understand everything better. During my educational life, music has been one of the most powerful part that helped me so much in order to understand better. During reading my books; I have a short rest listening to music then continue. This short break helps me to freshen my mind and it makes my mind to be ready to learn better and more effectively.
Music helps me to increase productivity. While I am designing on my computer, I listen to music so designing wouldn’t be boring for me at all. At work, I listen to music and do my affairs. In this way I don’t feel much hardship of work that I’m doing. Music helps me to spend my time at work not as hard as it is.
I believe that music is a universal language which has no barriers. It awakens emotions and has the same sensation on all kind of people regardless of their nation, race, culture and traditions. It can create relationships and close bridges among people around the world. According to Omar Akram, “music can positively affect people on many different levels. It can be a tool to communicate culture and a remedy for suffering just as much as it is a form of entertainment.” Music helps us to pass stress, pain, worries and the tension in our life. It has a miracle power that helps us to live peacefully and without tensions regardless where do we live and which race we belong to.
