Notice that the title of your paper is not in quotes, it is not underlined nor is it written in

all uppercase letters. Do not use a title page for your paper. Do not use the title of the play as

the title of your paper. Did you notice that the information in the upper left hand corner is

double-spaced? If you would like your paper to be graded anonymously, type in x’s instead of

your actual name. This page is formatted in one inch margins . Double space between the title

of your paper and the first line of text. This font is Times New Roman in 12 point. You may use

any legible font in 12 point. Page numbers don’t translate well into the Turnitin upload. It is

preferable not to use page numbers rather than having the first page of your paper numbered.

Please don’t have a major ginormous freak out over page numbers.

Did you spot the extra spaces before the period? That’s a typo that should be corrected

before you submit your paper. Did you notice the inclusion of slang? You should always avoid

slang and any casual language in an academic paper. You can find more information in the

“Response Paper Guidelines” document.
