I know certain things on the concept of "pretty privilege," which is sometimes called
"attractiveness privilege,". I am aware that the phrase "pretty privilege" refers to the economic
and social benefits that people who are deemed beautiful in society enjoy. Additionally, I am
aware that privilege is present in a variety of spheres of life, including relationships, job, and
education. According to studies, persons who are viewed as beautiful are more likely to succeed
in relationships, land higher-paying professions, and achieve better academic results. A time in
life when I experienced pretty privilege was when I was a student in secondary school. Both
teachers and students used to acknowledge certain students who were deemed "attractive", at the
expense of students who were good academic performers. The scenario I experienced during my
secondary school education times, rose concerns in me to study on the pretty privilege concept.
