Goals
· The goal of this project is to decrease the number of cases of mental illness in the community by helping parents to understand and determine the possible ways through, which they can identify, define, and understand mental illness.
· To increase the awareness of the impacts of long-term substance abuse in the community by the youth and parents by focusing on the importance of substance abuse counselling and training for parents and youths.
· Goal 3: the project also focuses on increasing the awareness for future generations on how to ensure they are ready to deal with mental therapy sessions and substance abuse and use withdraw.
Objectives
· To increase the awareness of parents on the definition of mental illness and help them to understand the different incident cases of mental illness in their families
· To increase the awareness of parents on the critical steps and strategies they can take when they identify mental cases and illnesses in their families and for their children in the community.
· To help parents and the youth to understand the issues related with substance abuse and overdose in the community and its related consequences with medical aid.
· To help parents to determine the possible ways and means they can use to reach and interact with the youth in the community on substance abuse.
· To educate and train parents on the possible ways for substance abuse withdraw and how they can help themselves and the youth on substance abuse and withdraw in the community.
· To help the youth understand the possible and easiest ways for reducing substance abuse and overcoming the challenges of substance withdraw and abuse.
Evaluation Criteria
Sustainability: Sustainability focuses on ensuring there is a platform for meeting and improving the value of awareness for the current and future generation. The goals and objectives focus on evaluating the value of future generation’s sustainability and improving the conditions of the future. Hence, through the sustainable evaluation, it is ideal to create awareness for reducing mental illness and curbing any challenges, which might arise.
Developmental Impact: Development impact might be affected due to the lack of long-term planning and awareness son substance abuse and mental cases in the community. There is a challenge of long-term development impact of substance abuse, especially in the colleges and educational societies. Hence, there is the need for confusing on the value of development and the impact of substance abuse in the long-term usage in the community.
Efficiency: The project also need to create awareness and ensure the community is ready to tackle any different challenges of mental illness and what might affect the ability to lender the mental and substance abuse an enigma towards social inclusion and integration. Thus, the evaluation of efficiency focuses on making the community ready to handle and tackle any issues and challenges associated with mental and substance abuse.
Effectiveness: Finally, it is based on the effectiveness of handling different issues associated with mental illness in the community and what needs to effectively develop to overcome deaths and abuse. It is through the effectiveness of the program and it goals, which can help to determine the ability for developing an effective program, which can help to meet and improve social needs and its expectations.
