As the manager at the healthcare facility, I will implement two quality improvement initiatives namely better service delivery and betterment of the working environment for the staff. The two improvements are very critical for the healthcare firm to provide quality services to the patients (Morgan, 2018). I came to this conclusion after I observed the workers in the organization during their daily activities. There was a poor service delivery to the clients as many of them came to the firm and went back without getting the necessary treatment that they required. Moreover, the working environment was not conducive to both the staff and the patients. Most of the places were dirty due to poor management of various departments, and this could put many workers and patients at the risk of contracting diseases.

For successful implementation of the two improvement initiatives, I will first create a plan for the implementation process. This is to ensure that all details of the improvement initiatives are captured. After creating the plan, the implementation process will commence. Regarding better service delivery, I will liaise with all staff members towards the provision of better healthcare services. This will involve employee training and motivation strategies which will encourage them to improve their operations (Kohler et al., 2001). Creating a better working environment will include renovation of various parts of the health facility and also enhancement of cleanliness in the health center to create a hygienic environment.

These initiatives are expected to improve the overall productivity of the hospital. One of the outcomes that are expected in the next six months is that cleanliness in the facility will have improved. The number of patients treated per day is also likely to rise. With the above outcome, I will know that the initiatives have been a success.
