Recent Scandal
During the 2021 NCAA tournament, there was a controversy based on the management of weight rooms during the games.
The "weight room scandal" was called the scandal since there were disparities between the men's and women's rooms during the game.
Proof of the scandal got displayed when Sedona Prince posted a video on social media to display the deplorable state of their weight rooms (Cash, 2022).
The development of the athletic industry has undergone many changes as new policies got implemented to handle athletes' needs by the NCAA. Basketball athletes have been managed using different considerations to ensure fans attain the expected high level of experience during matches. Provision of equipment for athletes during games is the tournament's responsibility as it ensures a high standard sports management process. After this action, many changes occurred in terms of the basketball player athletes being allowed to operate as employees. Connection of the basketball players’ activities to the tournament’s management is a requirement to handle professionalism during all games. The NCAA did not perform the required operations, which affected players' experience during the 2021 tournament.

The video shared on Twitter displayed a large disparity between the resources offered to women and men basketball players.
The college basketball tournament was nationwide, yet women had their rooms provided only with a rack of dumbbells and yoga mats.

The disparity was inappropriate throughout different levels to find the proper ambiance for athletes as they played. The NCAA scandal did not create a good image for its management since it already profits from athletes, yet the basketball players did not benefit before. This was an unfair action that the new approach eradicated in the athletic environment. Basketball athletes, whether female or male, already perform to high standards considered to be the same level as professional athletes. Due to this reason, allowing athletes to earn is productive since they already risk their bodies yet do not spend much time studying. The fact that the college tournament did not acknowledge this aspect of the tournament creates a negative perception.

Developing personal improvement for all athletes is possible by implementing a reliable payment structure conforming to their expertise to get provided with appropriate resources. The disadvantage of not allowing athletes to profit by giving them suitable resources during games or training. It gets hard to ensure female college athletes can balance their studies and their games properly when they do not suitably work with the NCAA to attain proper resource management.

The NCAA already integrates a feasible budget for its athletes.
Women athletes were provided with a proper budget to manage athletes’ requirements.
A compensation of $2.7 million got integrated to manage the NCAA scandal (Jenkins, 2021).
There is a strong possibility of generating reliable behaviors from the athletes when their managers get provided with proper resources. The athletes shall gain financial independence, essential for them as they study and enter the economic environment. Any university with athletes is already provided with a reliable operational environment that facilitates the profitability of all employees. Thus, female athletes must be provided with resources that promote their capability of ensuring proper games. When college departments manage coaches and athletes and select support staff suitable to the types of games, there can be a suitable process to abide by NCAA's policies.

Management of the Scandal
The NCAA can ensure the development of a gender-neutral tournament would be a suitable method to facilitate proper game management.
The NCAA vice president explained that the disparities in weight rooms occurred as "a mistake," which creates the perception of an unplanned response (Campbell, 2021).
The perception of elite sports requires transformation to ensure a proper method of managing athletes and providing them with the proper game experience. College athletes can choose to become professional athletes or perform highly in the courses and get employed in professional environments. The NCAA shall create a dependable career improvement process for all basketball players after facilitating them with proper resources according to their unique needs. It is possible to generate reliable game sessions that assist development procedures after connecting their demands to the type of organizational environment. The use of a suitable analysis for athletic environment requirements is possible as a structure for conformity to critical player operations.
