Narrative Essay topics to choose from

choose one of the following topics and write a two to two-and-a-half page narrative essay. Keep in mind all of the helpful tips I've given you and think back to the essays that I posted and what made them effective narratives. You have a 2.5-page (double-spaced) maximum; that means that your prose (writing) has to be concise and succinct. Each word has to count, so you don't want to be too wordy and ramble on and on. Also, be sure to check the document in "Course Information" that specifies how you should set up this essay.

· Tell about an important relationship you had and how it changed.

· Tell about meeting a famous person.

· Tell about meeting the love of your life.

· Tell about a vivid dream you had (*tip*: don't tell that it's a dream until the end of your narrative; telling that it's a dream at the beginning spoils the surprise for the reader).

· Tell about an experience that positively or negatively affected your life.
