Philosophy feedback

Hi,

Many thanks for sharing this. It is clear you have a very well thought out and sophisticated view of what you bring to your coaching engagements. In order to develop your articulation further, I encourage you to go a bit deeper into the transactions that occur between you and your clients within the relationship. While you say you take them out of their comfort zone I wonder how you experience the risk in doing this and hold on to your integrity while doing so? The main aim of this exercise is to you to explore some of the less conscious motivations for doing what you do and why you do it well. With this reflection on your practice, you will be better attuned to your own needs in the role and be less at risk of being moved by them in role. In reviewing what you wrote, I encourage you to ask yourself why are these things important to you? What are your underlying assumptions that these issues represent? I was curious about your statement regarding loneliness and wondered what informal role you serve in relation to this. Is it confidant? Friend? Or some other role you find yourself fulfilling. Great work, I encourage you to dig a bit deeper.

Hope this helps,

Derek
