Research Question: What is the impact of technology and use of electronics devices on today society ?

Working Thesis: The use of technology and electronic device has grown exponentially and has impacted negatively the society in a way where most people have become dependent to their smart phones or electronics devices and this is becoming a serious concern on today society.

· Education: made learning more interactive and collaborative, this helps people better engage with the material that they are learning and have trouble with.

· Communication: Technology brought many new methods of electronic communication

· Healthcare: technological improvements in health care have given a chance to doctors to treat their patients in an environment that is virtual through the use of mediums such as video conferencing

· Legal: allows the judges to still listen to the cases of hard core criminals who cannot be allowed to get into the court rooms due to security reasons.

1. Learning to conduct research is important because it is a skill you will use both in academia and in your professional life. It improves critical thinking and empowers you to find information for yourself. Consider the process of researching as a whole. What was the most challenging aspect of the process for you? The most challenging aspect for me was to come up with an idea. Finding the right subject was very difficult. I had to look to a topic where I would talk about my opinion, what other people think and also think about different angles.

2. The working thesis statement is a proposed answer to your research question. It should clearly identify a debatable topic and take a position on one side of that topic. Analyze the effectiveness of your working thesis statement. (3-4 sentences)

In my working statement, I described how the technology has negatively impact the society and I used as example the fact that most people have become dependent to their mobile devices which is a huge problem on today society.

It allows you to consider the arrangement and organization of your ideas, as well as choose places to incorporate outside source materials. Review your detailed outline and summarize the argument you've presented. (3-4 sentences)

In the outline, I focused on talking about technology in general, what society has gained from the evolution. Details explanation of advantages of technology in society by listing different categories and find a link with our global situation with the corona virus pandemic. I also listed the negative impact of technology in society by introducing some concerns and others.

I would like to know how detail was my outline and If I need to expand my research to gather more information in order to cover this topic.. If I missed something, please guide me in the right direction.
