Student Success Plan: Final Submission
My Goals (Due in Week 9)
Step 1: Add your three goals from the week 8 assignment to the Long-Term Goals column of the table below with a target date for each goal.
1. Long-term goals should be set in the future and should require planning to achieve.
1. You should have one goal you want to achieve for yourself (personal), one for your career (professional), and one for your learning (academic).
1. Each goal should follow the SMART system- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely. For a review of SMART goals, refer to the week 8 course material.
Step 2: Create short-term goals and add them to the Short-Term Goals column of the table.
1. A short-term goal is a small step that you take towards the completion of a long-term goal. Consider whether your audience would see the connection between your short-term goals and your personal, professional, and academic long-term goals.
1. The target dates of the short-term goals should be set earlier than the target date of the connected long-term goal.
