Rectify the grammatical errors in an essay

My experience at SIUE is has been really great and adventurous until now. Let me start with sharing my own personal experience at SIUE. I was contacted by International Hospitality Program as soon as landed which helped me settle down in new environment and also offer me advices on banking, shopping, laundry, automobile, and housing and health concerns. The friends I made on that day are still in my life helping and sorting things.

At first I had hard time with switching my major from nutrition to nursing but then everything fall into place. The staff here is so helpful and kind that they would explain you each detail and guide you throughout the process.

I was very excited with celebrate my festival in an abroad university with my own people. I use to be full of enthusiasm to encourage others to lend a hand in organizing and putting up the festival. I participated in Diwali night as well as international night expressing my culture in my university. That was really a great moment for me showcase my culture with immense pride and emotions which was later flooded by likes and comments on my instagram page. Not only me, my senior roommates have been a huge part of help in IHP & organizing all Indian events. We had a good group of Indian people running all the events and festivals.

I personally am a nursing student and I feel lucky to be have got accepted into SIUE’s Nursing Program which is considered one of the top tenth nursing programs in Illinois. I usually don’t have to promote my nursing program because our nursing school is already famous, respected and you get a valued degree at most affordable tuition rate in Illinois. I have my clinical rotations in nearby hospitals like Saint Elizabeth, Belleville memorial East, Anderson, Saint Louis Children Hospital, which are few of the highly cherished clinical agencies and believe me I get lot of respect and appreciation just by saying that “I am an SIUE nursing student”. All the nurses there will revive their memories of nursing school and they know that new students will also be trained by experienced and licensed instructors. The high quality faculty instruction and student preparation led to a 94% pass rate in School of Nursing National Council Licensure Examination for undergraduate students during the school.

By watching at my graph, my two former roommates have decided to switch their majors into nursing, which meant a huge achievement for me. Inspiring someone to do extraordinary stuff and stepping into a path of success has been shown prominent results for me and my family. Nursing is an awesome opportunity especially at this moment of pandemic. USA needs great nurses and has brought shortage of nursing staff and I have seen lot of universities initiating their online nursing programs for the first time to help with shortage. Nevertheless SIUE is exceptional in its thinking, SIUE wants to do different and doesn’t fear to achieve exceptional that online nursing program won’t be of help to make great nurses. SIUE is continuing with it clinical rotations to let their students deal with the real world and squeeze best from the opportunity. My nursing program lets me promote SIUE while each and every patient nurse interaction.
