Woodbury University has a relatively small landscape and group size (36 students). There are only a few sustainable methods that can be implemented given the current situation. I think that foraging is insufficient because Woodbury is located in a city, and there are not much crops that can be harvested in the vicinity. I also believe that intensive agriculture is intended for a significantly larger group size. Horticulture is the best approach, in which a garden civilization can be utilized in order to plant and harvest groups. This is a feasible method given the relatively small landscape that Woodbury has. Pastorism could work, but I think that there is not enough size for the animals to roam. This causes me to select horticulture as the best approach given the relative size of the land and group.
I believe that the most sustainable type of food getting would have to without a doubt be horticulture. The big reason behind this selection is that horticulture does not allow for such a large area to be targeted on a Woodbury campus. Horticulture on campus is a sure fire way to help a full rich cycle of food getting grow. Food that would be grown would be all natural because it would be grown on the grounds of Woodbury and would continue to grow from one year to the next. Animals are another way to help within this process, they can remove any of the remaining food that is left on campus so that there is no rotten or bad fruits and vegetables lying around. Horticulture is a much cheaper process and a much more fun experience that can allow it to become sustainable rather than going to any store and spending money on fruits and vegetables. Until the very end, I believe that horticulture is the perfect choice for food getting.
